Community Plan Delivery Groups

Community Plan Delivery Groups ( CPDGs ) are central to the work of the Tower Hamlets Partnership . The main purpose of Community PlThe Partnership is committed to improving the quality of life of everyone who lives and works in Tower Hamlets.an Delivery Groups is to deliver the key Local Area Agreement ( LAA )and Community Plan targets and initiatives within their thematic area and accelerate service improvement.

There are five Community Plan Delivery Groups:

1.         The Children and Families Trust

2.         A Safe and Supportive Community

3.         A Great Place to Live

4.         A Healthy Community

5.         A Prosperous Community

Two of the five CPDGs – The Children and Families Trust and Safe and Supportive Community – are statutory partnerships, which means that they have additional lines of accountability separate to the Tower Hamlets Partnership.

Each CPDG works to a set of agreed terms of reference, which set out what it is aiming to do and how it will operate.
